ECOROBUSTA Philosophy is what we call the continuous process that we apply to meet our commitment to the environment and the health of workers in their work environment. That is why we have the EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) system, the Community Regulation on Eco-management and Eco-audit, a tool developed by the European Union that recognizes those organizations that have implemented an Environmental Management System and have acquired a commitment to continuous improvement.
We are committed to a circular economy system, valuing materials and resources that remain in use for as long as possible, reducing waste to a minimum through recycling.
We adapt EcoDesign to optimize processes and reduce the environmental impact throughout the product life cycle (UNE 14040 – UNE 150301), obtaining a significant reduction in our carbon footprint through the “I calculate, reduce and compensate” program of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition. We have ISO14001: Environmental Management Systems standard.
All our leather suppliers are certified by the “Leather Working Group”, an international organization that guarantees Environmental Commitment and Sustainable Development. We collaborate with the Ecotextyle project, raising awareness in the footwear sector regarding sustainable manufacturing.
ROBUSTA’s R&D&I department develops, in collaboration with the INESCOP Innovation and Technology Center and the La Rioja Footwear Technology Center CTCR, innovative projects to improve our environmental processes.
